Altzaga
Altzaga is a village located in the mountains, facing Sierra de Aralar. It has a great view of Txindoki -Guipuzcoa’s most iconic mountain- and many other peaks. It’s only a 28 minute drive from San Sebastian.

Arama
Arama is the smallest village in the historic territory of Guipuzcoa, with a population smaller than 200 people over an extension of 1.3 km². It is located right in the centre of Goierri. Do you know its architectural heritage?

Ataun
Ataun is the longest village in Guipúzcoa. Admire its fascinating geological phenomenon: a dome.

Beasain
Beasain has the greatest population in Goierri, with over 14,000 inhabitants. It’s only 28 minutes away from San Sebastián, driving on the A1.

Gabiria
Gabiria is located in one of the highest points in Goierri. In the Basque language, they call the village “the one that can be seen from anywhere” and it’s 37 minutes away from San Sebastián.At that height, just imagine the views you will see!

Gaintza
Gaintza is located at the foot of Mount Txindoki, 30 minutes away from San Sebastián. Enjoy the beautiful landscape surrounding the village and see Euskadi’s most majestic mountain!

Idiazabal
Idiazabal is located between Aralar and Aizkorri-Aratz Sierras and it gives the famous and delicious cheese its name. It’s only 30 minutes away from San Sebastián!

Itsasondo
Itsasondo is a small rural village divided into two districts, 26 minutes away from San Sebastián. Its main economic activity was based around slate and there are still some visible traces, like roofs or former quarries.

Lazkao
Lazkao is located in a fantastic natural area, but also close to A1 highway. This village is known for its diversity and diversity of possible activities, due to its location at the foot of Sierra de Aralar.

Legorreta
Legorreta is a small beautiful village only 25 minutes away from San Sebastián! Its parish church of San Salvador is known for its beauty: strong and lofty walls, decorative stone…

Mutiloa
Enjoy the caseríos in this beautiful village, 37 minutes away from San Sebastián. Mining has been their main economic activity since the Middle Ages.

Olaberria
Olaberria is the balcony of Goierri. It’s just 32 minutes away from San Sebastián, and offers you a fantastic view of the whole region of Goierri: Aizkorri-Aratz and Aralar sierras, the mountains, the woods…

Ordizia
Ordizia is a medieval town with beautiful architecture in the old quarter. Since it’s only 30 minutes away from San Sebastián, you go and come back on the same day! Enjoy their well-known market and gastronomy festivals.

Ormaiztegi
The population of Ormaiztegi stands at about 1350. It hosts the Zumalacárregui Museum, where you can get to know a piece of history while enjoying caseríos, the church of San Andrés, and one of the oldest baptismal fonts in Gipuzkoa, kept inside.

Segura
Segura is a medieval town with the best conserved medieval quarter in Guipúzcoa. It’s close to the highway, so it’s very easy to reach by car… just a 37 minute drive from San Sebastián! The beautiful peaks of Aizkorri and Txindoki surround the village and the river Oria runs through the middle.

Zaldibia
Zaldibia is located at the bottom of the emblematic mount Txindoki, only 33 minutes away from San Sebastián. You can enjoy superb trails down the Roman road, to mount Auza Gaztelu or through Sierra de Aralar.

Zegama
Only 38 minutes away from San Sebastián, Zegama is located in a privileged rural setting at the bottom of the mountains of Aizkorri-Aratz. Back in the day, it boasted a strategic location: anyone who wanted to reach the province of Guipúzcoa had to cross Zegama.

Zerain
Zerain is just 39 minutes away from San Sebastián, right in the centre of the Basque Country. It has kept its essence, traditional culture and architecture intact. Come visit!
