

San Adrián viewpoint
A mythical place
Climb to about 1.000 meters of altitude, to a tunnel full of history – World Heritage- in a beautiful, border between Alava and Gipuzkoa, is a unique excursion in summer. It will take you about an hour: son it´s about 2,6 km and it is easy, you can go with your family.


Segura
Walking through the Middle Ages
The route that runs alongthe Camino Real de Postas from the medieval village of Segura to the village of Zegama is a bike-path highly recommended for quiet walks. A distance of 5 km. that is done in less than an hour and a half.


Aizkorri
Climb the highest peak in the Basque Country
From San Adrián in 3-4 hours you go up and down to Aizkorri; after the ascension you can see Zegama, located on the slopes of the mountain, a village with stunning views of thecrest of Aizkorri.


Idiazabal land
The cradle of cheese
Visit our dairies, learn about the life of our shepherds and sheep and try this delicacy made by hand with raw milk from latxa sheep. In the center of food and Gastronomy d´Elikatuz of Ordizia you can also taste cheese in one of the tastings that are organized.


Sara route
Walking with witches and giants
Travel 7 kilometers accompanied by beings from another era and the patriarch of Basque culture, Joxe Migel Barandiaran, teaching your children their roots, the mythology of the Basque people. Because these things must be lived. The walk borders the Natural Park of Aralar, by the village of Ataun.

Going to Lareo reservoir on a beautiful trail from Lizarrusti park house is a gift offered by the Goierri in summer. It is one of the many routes you can do in the Aralar Natural Park: there are 6 that leave the Parketxe where you can eat and sleep in the hostel.


Ordizia market
New colors and smells
Flowers, peas, beans, perretxikos and zizas, asparagus and artichokes… All proclaim that it is summer in the Ordizia market. Put to overflow of seasonal genre and Idiazabal cheese. On Wednesdays it is mandatory to visit the Ordizia Market, the oldest in the Basque Country.

Gastronomic experiences
To recover lost time with friends or family. Book a workshop of talos in the Monumental Complex of Igartza in Beasain, where in its mill, flour was molded. Or taste our local craft beer Basabe in Lazkao. In an hour and a half visit, taste 8 beers for 10€.
