Bidegorri or bike path that connects the towns of Legorreta and Zegama through Itsasondo, Ordizia, beasain, Olaberria, Idiazabal and Segura. It can be done by bike, walking, skates, etc.

Beasain – Aralar – Ataun – Olaberria – Beasain

Starting in Beasain, you will get through Aralar’s Natural Park, crossing Lazkaomendi and Enirio.
The ascent is long and hard, especially the final stage, close to Igaratza. Once there, it starts a pleasant downhill to Lareo reservoir. Get down the road to Ataun, where you will have to go up a short but steep slope, into the town of Olaberria. From here you will be getting closer to Beasain, seeing the beautiful caseríos of the area, and going down passing Indar’s factory and Igartza Monument Complex.

Getaria’s Txakoli is a white wine traditionally produced in Guipúzcoa’s coast.
Bengoetxe is one of the three wineries inside the province. It produces an award-winning organic wine, very appreciated in the US and Japan.

Olaberria is the balcony of Goierri. It’s just 32 minutes away from San Sebastián, and offers you a fantastic view of the whole region of Goierri: Aizkorri-Aratz and Aralar sierras, the mountains, the woods…

In the old quarter, standing on a small hill, you can find the parish church of of San Juan Bautista (17th century) stands out. Two neighborhoods, Errekalde and Yurre, organize their population and activity, focused on the agricultural-livestock sector and the steel industry, respectively.

People in Olaberria live in three districts: old quarter, Errekalde neighborhood and Yurre neighborhood; The activity of the first two is based primarily on the agricultural-livestock sector, which allows maintaining the beauty of its meadows and forests. The Yurre neighborhood is centered around the industry, mainly the Arcelor Mittal steel industry and other companies located around it.
