Amundarainerreka Trail SL-Gi 2008

This fantastic trail runs through a purely rural environment, clinging to the course of  Amundarainerreka river. The cold and transparent waters that come out of one of the most important aquifers in the Aralar Nature Park, the Osinberde aquifer in Zaldibia, are what have articulated for hundreds of years the lives of the inhabitants of this valley. It has provided them with subsistence, their strength to grind grain and to generate electricity in recent decades. The dams, bridges, canals and mills that you will find along the way are witnesses to all this.
